@ Sir Romanov: The interesting thing is that my machine runs rock-solid on wired ethernet or an external WiFi adapter (Linksys WUSG54GC). Using the internal Intel WiFi 5100AGN adapter I experience the freezes.
I stress-tested my system with the external WiFi adapter for 24 hours, transferring some 6 GiB from various sources (internet radio, torrents, copy from local servers) - rock solid. Currently I transfer 24 GiB via the internal WiFi card in an attempt to provoke a kernel panic. I left the machine with tty1 open, so that I can trace a kernel panic if it should show up. -- Computer hard locks randomly with ubuntu jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/355155 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
