Yes, definitely not a problem with audacity itself. I bought the blue snowflake for voip with skype. The problem occurs with skype, gnome sound recorder, the gnome "sound" control panel, and everything else as far as I can tell. Oddly, there was one brief moment when using gnome sound recorder that the sound came through properly. I haven't been able to repeat that though.
