Public bug reported:
after applying the work around (sudo apt-get update) and sudo apt-get install
ubiquity) to take care of problem bug report 76976 the hard drive installer on
the desktop will not work. see bug 76976 for the original problem about the
partitioner which is the begining of the problem and now another problem with
the work around fix.
