If you select the text, middle-click will paste it into another window,
as usual in X. I'll see if it's straightforward to make Ctrl-C work as
well.
If you can't provide the log files, I can't do anything with this bug.
However, it's quite possible that this is bug 76976, since fixed; run
'sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install ubiquity' before starting the
installer to pick up the fix.
