I have this issue with an HP deskjet 5652 printer. It's discovered
twice.

/var/log/syslog is attached. I deleted both entries in system-config-
printer at 13:09 while the printer was on. Turning it off at 13:12
provoked first discovery. Turned on and off again at 13:16.
