Public bug reported: Configuration: Kubuntu 9.04 AMD64 version, default state.
To reproduce: 1) Try to view packages dependencies using KPackageKit. 2) Try to figure out who is package maintainer using KPackageKit Result: 1) I'm unable to review dependencies of packages and have no idea what will be installed once I'm going to install some package. In some cases (e.g. weak machine, low disk space, etc) it could be a problem since does not allows to evaluate consequences of install attempt. 2) If I ever need to contact package maintainers, I can't figure out their contacts using KPackageKit. Other package managers provide such details. ** Affects: kpackagekit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Kubuntu: Can't view all details about packages in KPackageKit gui installer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/377620 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
