Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cdbs

The changes made to "fix" bug 374892 are, I feel, incorrect.

Most notably, they involve changing the default installation root from
debian/tmp/ to debian/binarypackagename/ - a change which almost
certainly breaks any package that was using that default, since whatever
logic they used to install files from debian/tmp/ into their actual
final location.

I think the proper fix is to revert the changes of the previous cdbs
upload and instead fix the Ubuntu-specific added dist-packages->site-
packages logic to use the same paths as passed to the setup.py --root
options.

bzr branch to follow....
