Using network-manager under ubuntu. Connected to a WPA/WPA2 secured
network, wireless networking stopped working without warning.

trying to reconnect caused network manager to prompt continuously for
the WPA key.
doing a
sudo modprobe -r iwlagn
sudo modprobe iwlagn
brought networking back
