Public bug reported:
While booting, the system (i386 Kernel) suddenly hangs. Sometimes this happens
while the Kubuntu Booting Screen is shown (no more effort is shown, the status
bar does not move), and sometimes while the message "Checking File Systems...."
is displayed. I didn't have these problems with Feisty Herd1. Herd1 worked
perfectly on my system (AMD Athlon64, Asus K8v Deluxe Board, 1 GB RAM,
SATA-Drives).
Being a Linux NewBie, I'm sorry I cannot describe the problem more precisely
