You can add my machine too - noapic seems to put it right, as far as I've tested. Lenovo W700, Jaunty. Also happens with Fedora 11 pre- release. I'd guess it's also related to this outstanding kernel bug, looks like something they broke a short while ago....
http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11727 It was happening before the nvidia driver was even installed, and after - definitely interrupt related since keypresses, mouse movements - even inserting a CD cause it to wake up. ** Bug watch added: Linux Kernel Bug Tracker #11727 http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11727 -- lockups with default (hpet) clocksource on 2.6.27-2-generic 64-bit https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/270798 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
