Hi. At first you'll need the german language-plugin, because with the english dictionary this bug does not occur so it may be a task for your "german team" . The main point is that spell-check detects words without the following dot, but in the dictionary the abbreviations are stored with this dot (with English they are stored without this dot but in german you have to use it). You just create a new message and when there is no more spelling-mistake you put in an abbreviation ending with "." It will mark this as a spelling-mistake so you press F7 to launch spell-checking. in the proposal-wordlist you'll find the same word you've just written end even if you replace it, it will be marked again although it'll only add a second "." ** Attachment added: "Bildschirmfoto.jpg" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/26941181/Bildschirmfoto.jpg -- spell check highlights corrected abbreviations https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378017 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
