apport-collect 119000
and let it add all relevant information for the Jaunty version of the problem.

+ 
+  - open up Buddy List
+  - select user in Bonjour group
+  - edit alias
+  - alias is changed
+  - quit pidgin
+  - restart
+  - open up Buddy List
+  - user in Bonjour group reverted back to original alias
+ 
+ Still persists in Jaunty.
