This looks like a duplicate of 357732, make sure that the jaunty-updates repository is activated as described here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu#Updates%20Tab and do an upgrade of your system to cups 1.3.9-17ubuntu3 Please report back if the issue is solved after the upgrade.
