Public bug reported:
I am using at work some HP workstations dc7700p.
The video card is an Intel i965.
Ubuntu is 6.10 with all updates.
Xorg does work if using the "i810" driver in xorg.conf, however this
triggers some troubles :
-I was unable to switch up to 1600x1200 on my 20' inches LCD, here's the
output:
(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"
(1600x1200,102015) mode clock 162MHz exceeds DDC maximum 160MHz
(EE) I810(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.
(EE) AIGLX: Screen 0 is not DRI capable
-When switching to a console (ctrl-alt-F1) then coming back to Xwindow
(ctrl-alt-F7), the screen is flashing furiously, no more usable display.
Restarting X does not do any good, you have to reboot !
