Binary package hint: pavucontrol
On my laptop I have 2 sound devices: onboard and usb.
Gnome does output all it's sound via the onboard soundchip although I have set
the system default to usb. Opening pavucontrol I have "System Sounds" in the
Playback tab - but I don't have any options to save the output device.
