Dear Sir, Thank you for your response.
1) Other applications seem to be working o.k. 2) I have not tried that, although I was on a call with dell technical support and we did something similar that did not help. Anyone is able to manage the four together, and it could be attached to a package. 1) About unresponsivness of buttons, it applies only on Firefox, or also on software based on Qt (KDE) and GTK (default gnome application) ? 2) The restriction on system disk apply also when you do sudo, e.g. sudo cp ~/.profile / 3) A workaround to shutdown is sudo reboot -h, which is better that power off. I can not help you. 4) I can not help you, I do not use WIFI. -- automatic upgrade causes many system issues https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378864 You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber of the bug. Status in Ubuntu: New Bug description: My system performed an automatic update on 5/19/09 and since then I have the following problems that were not there before: 1) Firefox web browser buttons do not work. They were working normally before. 2) System disk space is locked and will not allow any files to be written to it. There were no problems with disk access before the upgrade. 3) When trying to shutdown using either the icon on the toolbar or quit under system causes the whole toolbar to disappear without shutting down. There were no shutdown issues before the upgrade. 4) Connection to wifi is much slower than before. Wifi connectivity was within a minute before the upgrade. -- automatic upgrade causes many system issues https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/378864 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
