Dell said that I needed to send back the system to get the OS re- installed.

Status in Ubuntu: New Bug description: My system performed an automatic update on 5/19/09 and since then I have the following problems that were not there before: 1) Firefox web browser buttons do not work. They were working normally before. 2) System disk space is locked and will not allow any files to be written to it. There were no problems with disk access before the upgrade. 3) When trying to shutdown using either the icon on the toolbar or quit under system causes the whole toolbar to disappear without shutting down. There were no shutdown issues before the upgrade. 4) Connection to wifi is much slower than before.
