Hello,
in Ubuntu Jaunty AMD64 I've got a problem with recognizing USB devices,
especially the ones, which were plugged in before the turn up of the
computer. After system start up I have to unplug and re-plug the device
(in my case external HDD - not very good for a HDD lifetime) and often
one more time again, before it's recognized and mounted. I don't think,
it's a hardware problem. I've got dual boot with Win XP, which work OK
and Ubuntu 8.10 AMD64 worked also perfectly in this way.
