Debian unstable does not have this problem.I've been using sid for a few weeks now on my Vostro. It's the same X version as Jaunty (I suppose a bit more recent but basically the same version). However, the kernel is 2.6.29, newer than Ubuntu 9.04. This bug caused me to go back to Debian, and for sure Debian is fine on this laptop, both sid and testing, which is still on kernel 2.6.26 and the older X.
Maybe it's kernel related? -- [jaunty] Keyboard and Mouse Frozen on Login Screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/335297 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
