Re: Overheating - Unlikely. This has happened after it's been up for as long as several days, or as short as a few minutes after a restart, when the system had been powered down. It's a HP laptop with nVidia GPU.
Re: Micro-cut - This is a laptop. Battery would have taken over for power loss. I'm hoping it's some type of code related issue, as, again, this NEVER happened until almost immediately after I upgraded from 8.10 to 9.04, using the upgrade option thru update manager. This hasn't happened since the last one occurred on 5/17, but I haven't used the machine as much, recently. There have been 2 code pushes in the last week, so I'll see if there is any change. -- Random system shutdowns during inactivity (Total power off) after upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/376928 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
