Similar problem on my notebook, a Compaq CQ60-206US. Wireless hot button is not working. Wireless hot button on machine glows red, indicating no wireless, even when wireless is working and connected. Pushing hot button does not disconnect. When connecting, hot button should change color from red to blue. Notebook has the Atheros wireless unit, am using athk5 driver. Other than the non-functional hot button, wireless is working for me.
