I am using UBUNTU 8.10 (ibex) and installed imagewriter in order to
write the notebook remix OS on my Kingston 2 GB USB stick. Imagewriter
failed but the terminal commands worked. It appears to me that
imagewriter used the wrong device (sdb1) instead of sdb. Imagewriter
said it deleted sdb1 and then said that dd failed. I used sdb for the dd
terminal command and the stick was created correctly.
