I spoke too soon. I tried to connect to the wifi network from Network- Manager and I immediately lost use of the keyboard on Gnome. The keyboard works well on the console though. I checked what files were modified in the last minutes and I found out that these two gconf files were modified:
/home/reed/.gconf/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/host-biancone/0 /home/reed/.gconf/desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/host-biancone/0/%gconf.xml I removed them, rebooted and now the keybard works just fine. So the issue must be caused by Network-Manager or something else around gnome. -- Activating Broadcom STA proprietary driver on MacBook blocks keyboard https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/374012 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
