** Summary changed: - Keyboard layout choice in installer confusing + Typing keyboard layout name disrupted by instant change of layout
** Description changed: - Binary package hint: ubiquity - Ubuntu 7.10 desktop i386 CD In the installer, if one tries to search thru the keyboard layout list, he can "deadlock" easily. Example: on the "Keyboard Layout", focus into the layout list (by country) and type the key N, then E, then T (to find "Netherlands"). Expected: - selection is on "Netherlands" Actual: - after pressing N the selection gores to "Nepal", it is activated, and when the user types E, a completelly different character is entered, so "Netherlands" is not found -- Typing keyboard layout name disrupted by instant change of layout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173950 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
