Now works HP LaserJet 1018 for me: I have downloaded firmware from http://embar.wen.ru/html/bylos/linux/hp/sihp1018-dl.zip and extracted this archive. I put the file sihp1018.dl in /usr/share/foo2zjs/firmware directory. I have installed hplip, hp-ppd, hplip-data, hpijs, foo2zjs, libcupsimage2-dev packages (I don't know what of thees are necesary).
