The answer regarding https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/thunderbird/+bug/379666/comments/1: I don't have any ideas what I did. Suddenly the Trash was gone.
But I get it back by doing the following in Thunderbird: 1: I placed the cursor on the folder Inbox, I clicked the right mouse button and choosed New Folder and I got the window New Folder. 2: I named it Trash and I clicked the button Create as a subfolder. 3: I choosed the enty Local Folders and then I selected the Trash 4: Afterwards I clicked File and Empty Trash I got a new Trash folder. But I lost it again and I repeated the actions. Now it has been stable for one day.
