Public bug reported:
I run Karmic on an Asus G1S.
I did the following to get rid of pulseaudio.
sudo apt-get purge pulseaudio
and re-booted.
My application, which had not worked before even with pasuspender or
pasdp, now works fine, but I get this error message every time I boot.
(/usr/lib/libgconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 exited with status 256)
