Public bug reported: this is a bug i experienced with both 8.10 and 9.04 very often when renaming music files. I will be renaming files and then i'll get to one that doesnt auto organize after renaming. i can go on renaming files but that one file that was renamed still won't move from it's previous location from before it was renamed, for example:
files: 1.mp3 2.mp3 3.mp3 then i'll rename "1.mp3" to "4.mp3" and the order will be 4.mp3 2.mp3 3.mp3 then i'll rename "2.mp3" to "y.mp3" and the order will be 4.mp3 3.mp3 y.mp3 this is just an example and doesnt always occur, however you will see that most files reorder and an occasional oddball wont. this corrects itself when you manually click the "Name" tab at the top of the window. here are some examples that happened today http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/2865/screenshoti.png http://img39.imageshack.us/img39/2180/screenshot1w.png ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Renaming doesnt auto-organize one file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/380359 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
