I installed:
linux-headers-2.6.30-020630rc7-generic_2.6.30-020630rc7_amd64.deb
linux-headers-2.6.30-020630rc7_2.6.30-020630rc7_all.deb
linux-image-2.6.30-020630rc7-generic_2.6.30-020630rc7_amd64.deb
Then I rebooted and there was no change.
I restarted Jaunty via the power button, checked the boot menu and I saw
2.6.30-rc7 was installed.
