I'm having panics on my IBM (pre-lenovo) T60 as well, they only happen when my wireless switch is on (I also use wpa_supplicant, not networkmanager).
They happen in all of the following situations: running only firefox and ssh (kill skype and pidgin); VMWare workstation running VMs; crossover/wine running Office; when the screensaver is running; after bootup, without logging into X, logging into the console and changing /etc/X11/xorg.conf in vi; while docked; while undocked; while plugged in; while on battery. The only consistancy is that the wireless switch is on (never when I have it off, and am running on usbserial networking), the keyboard and mouse become unresponsive, and the "capslock" light blinks evenly untill power is held down to kill the system. Is a physical photo still required? I can take one this afternoon. -- [Jaunty] ThinkPad X200 kernel panics when powering off and wpa_supplicant is running https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/364145 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
