Binary package hint: konqueror
In Ubuntu 9.04, with an up-to date system (28.05.2009) konqueror closes
previous split-views when
- Splitting horizontally, then splitting the left window again
- Splitting vertically, then splitting the upper window again
In both cases the previous split is discarded.
"Subsplitting" works fine for the right/lower part of the splits.
This is unexpected and there is no way to create a cross-split:
