I cannot reproduce this bug in Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04. Could you please
confirm whether this bug still affect you?
Also, I assume that when you say "multiple desktops", you refer to the
the multiple desktop workspaces between which you move by using
Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right.
