I can confirm the bug as it has previously been described. I'm using a laptop without external keyboard and I'm running 9.04 with all stable updates. - I use two layouts US and German. - After booting everything is fine for "some time". - When I change something in the keyboard layout options (e.g. add and remove an additional layout) everything is fine for "some time". - After "some time" I get an additional layout "??" which mimics one of the other layouts I'm using.
