I can see the compiz is enabled, but is it also in use? That is, what is selected when you click "System -> Preferences -> Apperance -> Visual Effects"? If it /isn't/ None, please select "None" and report whether or not this issue occurs with Visual Effect disabled. Thanks and regards,
