I have problem turning my wifi on, on my eee pc 901 which is ralink rt2860(my
friend has it too with toshiba satellite intelwireless card), first i had a
problem with the wpa networks, but that has been solved by applying a patch,
now there is another problem which i didnt find an answer for it(it existed
even with the wpa problem) it goes like this, when i start ubuntu with the wifi
on it connects normally and every thing works great, but when i turn it off and
then back on, i cant connect anymore, the led of the wifi is on again but i
cant seem to be able to search for the networks and connect to them, its like
ubuntu cant see the wifi again, or the daemon isnt running anymore, it happens
the same when i turn ubuntu on with wifi off, when trying to enable it i get
the same results, and sometimes i get (not managed) when i click on the network
icon,(and this applies for the bluetooth too).
one thing thou, i wasnt able to turn the wifi on/off until i used the
eee-control scripts.
