I searched on Internet and I found nobody accessing sensors via VirtualBox, except one for a thermal sensor on USB.
VirtualBox can access USB bus, but probably not on i2c. i2c is a low serial cost bus to connect to basic sensor, and professional manages temperature and fan from the guest host, so I am affraid there very few people who as to implement i2c reading. You should use "sensors-detect" on the guest OS to see on what bus are connected the sensors of your motherboard. -- Testing Ubuntu Karmic in virtualbox no sensors detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/377307 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
