Please tell me the webcam driver version (dmesg | grep gl860) and whether Ekiga is in v4l1 or v4l2. If you test only one of these modes, please test the other. If both do not work, install the version http://sourceforge.net/project/downloading.php?group_id=229562&filename=gl860_2.6.29e.tgz using "./install -t" instead of "./install". This enables the traces in the driver, so try Ekiga and post 'dmesg | grep gl860'.
