Public bug reported:
On an Asus Netbook attempting to install Ubuntu 9.04 onto an external
USB Hard Drive, the installation fails on reboot with Grub Error 17
(unable to find root partition)
Seems that because it's got more than 1 usb hard drive that the computer
can't work out the correct drive number for grub.
