Public bug reported: The report produced by /etc/cron.daily/system-health contains the error message "Specified sensor(s) not found!" on my system, instead of the sensors report.
This is the case because /usr/bin/system-health invokes /usr/bin/sensors with parameter lm79-isa-*. This parameter is hard-coded in the script. Removing this parameter by emptying the $sensorChips variable declaration solves the problem for me. This is on a system recently upgraded to hardy from gutsy. # apt-cache policy debian-helper-scripts debian-helper-scripts: Installed: 0.10ubuntu3 Candidate: 0.10ubuntu3 # lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04.2 Release: 8.04 ** Affects: debian-helper-scripts (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- system-health error message: "Specified sensor(s) not found!" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382060 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
