Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dvgrab
I use dvgrab for a long time now in the following manner: dvgrab -format dv1 -autosplit -timestamp -size 0 $NAME- to grab my dv-videos. This "should" result in a single file for every new recording (-autosplit and -size 0) and the time and date of the recording included (-timestamp) in the fiile name. Here is an example of some grabbed recordings from last year (dvgrab version 3.1 and older): dvgrab-2007.08.20_20-30-31.avi (avi since -format dv1 is used) OK, now with dvgrab version 3.2.2 (ubuntu jaunty) the result differs and looks like this: dvgrab-2008.05.08_16-41-03 Yes - the file extensions are gone... please take a look at this. BUT, this only happens in conjunction with the -timestamp parameter. Without the results look right (depending on the -format parameter the files get an .dv or .avi file extension) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: dvgrab 3.2-2 ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, user) LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: dvgrab Uname: Linux 2.6.28-11-generic x86_64 ** Affects: dvgrab (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- dvgrab no file extension with timestamp https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382070 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
