Public bug reported: Headphone jack-sense issue with Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03) in my Vostro 1520. When I plugin my speakers to the headphone jack, the built-in speakers continue to produce sound.
Also, I find that I have to turn up my volume to 80% or greater to even get any sound from my speakers or the built in speakers. alsa-info.sh information uploaded and available at http://www.alsa- project.org/db/?f=3d4a7743922d84fab1019078a60c9a8e388f9409 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.04 HibernationDevice: RESUME=UUID=1dc97bac-4b4f-41dc-979d-7ea758672da8 MachineType: Dell Inc.
