Sorry for the delayed response. Is this still and issue for you? I see
you were already using the ath5k driver from linux-backports-modules-
jaunty. If the issue still remains would you be willing to test the
latest upstream compat-wireless stack? See

http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Download . If you are able to
reproduce the issue with the latest compat-wireless we'll want to be
sure to open an upstream bug report as well and notify the upstream
