Connected all similar bugs.

Symptoms:
System hangs completely after inserting cd/dvd disc (instantly or after few
seconds, only a hard reset helps then).

Present in an up-to-date 9.04, problem existed since a few releases and
still occur. A drive can be used safely in Windows.

In my case, command:
sudo killall hald-addon-storage
cause the hang not to occur, but the disc isn't recognized at all then.
So it may be a kernel or hal issue.

There is nothing new in dmesg or other logs when the hang happens.

Result of dmesg | grep -i cd-rom:
[ 4.813763] scsi 5:0:0:0: CD-ROM HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4167B DL13

[ 4.826550] Uniform CD-ROM driver Revision: 3.20
[ 4.826680] sr 5:0:0:0: Attached scsi CD-ROM sr0
(it is a LG GSA-4167B drive; there are 2 other reports of this bug happening
while using another LG drives, but there is also: Toshiba SD-R6112 slim DVD
drive and a MSI 16xDVD-Rom).

uname -a:

Attached sudo lspci -vvnn output.

Please take a look at the case.
