I have been using Shiretoko (Firefox 3.5 beta) for a week or so now and haven't seen this bug re-appear. So can someone who experiences this bug regularly install Shiretoko and see if it persists? Note that you can have Firefox and Shiretoko installed side by side, Shiretoko will migrate extensions and bookmarks but a number of extensions won't work so you may not want to use it as your main browser.
