Hello all, I experience a similar problem, altough with KUbuntu-9.0.4 running on a Satellite A300-1N0. As an addition, logout is futile( :) ) (not a hang, as only the display shows nothing, I have been waiting for about ten minutes, tried to switch to other console terminals... ) but reboot solves it. The second is more likely a KUbuntu bug. Please ask for more info if needed. grgabor
