I've just tried to simulate the same problem with Jaunty, without success. Kernel is 2.6.28-11-generic i686. Evolution version is 2.26.1. Regarding emails, how many can I keep in Evolution (I have over 500 in the version that fails) ? The difference between the two is that the failing version I have 3 separate email accounts and only one in the working version. At some point in the past I've been able to move files to the 'Read' folder, but this error must have occurred after some updates and after 29th June 2008 (last date stamp of stored email).
