Is this still an issue for you? I noticed the following in your
VarLogDistupgradeAptterm.log:
cpio: ./etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf: Cannot stat: No such file or
directory
update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-2.6.28-12-generic
