Public bug reported:
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System ->
About Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 9.04
2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename'
or by checking in Synaptic.
W: Unable to locate package packagename
3) What you expected to happen
Expect the stability of Ubuntu 8.10
4) What happened instead
Very unstable, lose work and productivity, frequent crashes after upgrading to
Ubuntu 9.04. The screen freezes. The mouse moves the pointer but does not work
on clicking. If music is playing, it continues to do so. I have activated 'Ctrl
+ Alt + Backspace' but that doesn't work either when my laptop freezes. Have to
use power button to switch off the computer by pressing it for around 5
seconds. I have sent several Apport error logs after reboot. Loose precious
work. Please help. Thanks.
