Binary package hint: synaptic
Ubuntu karmic install; using Synaptics to search for dvd rippers:
clicking on the search button and entering 'rip' as search term finds
both acidrip and dvdrip; independent of whether I search only within
names or within names and descriptions.
But entering 'rip' in the fast search box finds dvdrip, but never
acidrip!
