Public bug reported:

Hi, jaunty (ubuntu 9.04 32 bit) crashes randomly, expecially when using skype.
I suppose the problem is due to pulseaudio.
I have the same problem in the same laptop with jaunty 32 after intrepid
upgrade, jaunty 64 fresh installation and actually with jaunty 32 fresh
installation.
I recompiled alsa 1.0.20 but didn't fix the problem. i tried both with and
without fglrx driver (guessing the problem was due to row [ 21.272990] APIC
error on CPU0: 00(08) ). I also tried using both repos broadcom driver and
latest release from web site.
Nothing of previous fix the issue.

An other strange behaviour is that to call with skype I necessary have
to type "sudo alsa force-reload"

The dmesg row which shows the crash problem is the following:

[ 4257.163104] Clocksource tsc unstable (delta = -164719169 ns)
